Back in August Jerrod and I managed to sneak in a free weekend to run out to Calgary and re-shoot wedding photos for Amber & Adam. Back in June these two lovebirds tied the knot, come hell or high water, it wasn’t exactly what they had planned because of the devastating floods that hit Calgary, but they didn’t let that stop then from becoming husband and wife. They found a new safe location for their ceremony and celebrated with the few people that were able to attend. Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to shoot photos that day because of all the had gone on in the 24 hours before, but once the weekend was over we immediately started planning a date where we could redo photos and some portion of the day. At the end of our redo session Adam had planned a little surprise for Amber, which he had shared with me in advance. We would end up at Rouge restaurant where they had intended to tie the knot, and he had arranged a dinner for the two of them once the photo session was finished. It was so sweet and emotional seeing them stand in the backyard of the restaurant where they had dreamed of saying their vows, when Adam told Amber about the surprise. Luckily we still got to capture some special moments for them cherish there and I think they are very thankful for that.
